Subteams
Our team is broken down into 5 different subsystems, each responsible for their own area of the car
Chassis
Perhaps the most crucial subteam, chassis's main task is building the steel space frame for our car. They are also responsible for driver ergonomics, pedalbox assembly, firewall, paneling, integration and aerodynamics
Suspension
The suspension subteam is responsible for designing the suspension system & creating a well handling vehicle. They design and build the suspension arms, anti-roll bars, shock assemblies, hub assemblies, and brake system.
Powertrain
The powertrain subteam is responsible for delivering power to the wheels of the car. They must design a suitably sized accumulator, mount, cool, and control the motor, and transfer power to the wheels via the drivetrain.
Electrical
The electrical subteam is responsible for proper and safe operation of the vehicle through the drive, accumulator, and safety control units. They also design a data collection system, a driver UI, integrate and control various electronics around the car.
Operations
The operations team is responsible for all things business, PR, and outreach. They are in charge of fundraising money, working with sponsors, managing our social media accounts, and finances.
